Habitat Restoration Volunteer Day on Soquel Creek

Come out and get involved with the restoration of Soquel Creek! The Santa Cruz Resource Conservation District (RCD) is hosting a Community Volunteer Day on Saturday, April 14 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Volunteers should meet in the back of the parking lot of the Creekside Office complex at 2425 Porter Street right across the street from Carpo’s in Soquel. Bring your favorite gardening tools. Some tools will be provided along with water, snacks and gloves. Volunteers will be weeding around native plants and establishing barriers between revegetated areas and invaded areas. Don’t miss the opportunity to support the restoration of the beautiful Soquel Creek Watershed.
